APPLYING FOR FEDERAL FINANCIAL AID


Brensten Education understands that the college funding process can be daunting.


At Brensten, we try to make it as simple as possible. Most students need at least some financial assistance to begin their career. Brensten Financial Aid Specialists are here to confidently walk you through the process, remind you of deadlines, help you apply for grants and make sure you have a solid plan to fund your education.

All students who apply for federal financial aid are required to fill out the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). Brensten Education’s school code is: G41379

FEDERAL PELL GRANT

The maximum award is $5730 (July 1, 2014- June 30, 2015). Federal Pell Grants are given to undergraduate students who demonstrate financial need. Students are required to fill out a FAFSA in order to qualify. After you’ve reduced your total cost of attendance with grants, Brensten offers options for you to make up the difference with loans.

MILITARY
AID

VetEd Grant

Veterans may apply for VetEd, a grant program providing a reimbursement grant for tuition and fees following successful course completion. Reimbursement is currently up to 100% of the tuition and fees not covered by other grants.
